Request: Professional standard fantasy artist required for collaborative work with the author and Blackheath Dawn for ebook covers, logos, character and world art etc (long term benefits could be achieved with the right person).

Aspiring/emerging fantasy author, working as a volunteer alongside Blackheath Dawn Writers - a new business and community for aspiring writers.  The main issue is unemployment, and Blackheath Dawn only launched in January 2014 (this year!) so there is a lack of funding at present.  However, to make a profit, to get the author's work off the ground, an artist is needed.  The author is a world-builder like Tolkien.  She has many characters of different races, interesting places in the world she created, dragons and leviathans, and much more.  Royalties will definitely come out of book sales, and both writer and artist will receive out of art prints and perhaps even art books eventually. 

This opportunity might be best suited to a student looking to get his or her name out there, but anyone is welcome to ask for the details.  It doesn't matter whether the right person is a student or already established artist.  Ideally someone in the United Kingdom is sought, but should the right person be in another country they will also be considered.  It is not restricted to UK only, just preferred (as this would assist with meeting in person when possible).

It's involved a lot of work from the both of us, but Raye and I are almost ready to don Princess Emeraude and Zagato for the MCM Expo London Comic Con this October.  We're getting there with our cosplay progess, and you can see them both on Cosplay Island:

Just a few weeks worth of work to go.

Unfortunately due to time constraints and the sheer amount to do, our Magic Knight Rayearth cosplays are postponed until London MCM Expo in October (2013).  Tales of Graces f is still going ahead though, and I hope to be able to do Yuri Lowell of Tales of Vesperia as well.  I do have to get some parts of his costume made as well (I can't find anything for his shirt and jacket to modify and I have no dressmaking skills), but I'll need to modify some of the parts as I like everything to be as accurate as possible, which is why I've had to do SO MUCH EDITING on the bits that I'd bought for Richard (the jacket and cape), as the seller got a LOT of bits incorrect.

I have Richard in progress for a Tales of Graces f group on the Saturday, and the plan is to do Zagato with Raye-chan doing Princess Emeraude from Magic Knight Rayearth on the Friday and Sunday.  However it will all depend on time constraints with getting the costumes done as well as the heat, for I have: a VERY long wig down to my ankles, a crown/coronet on my head, two velvet cloaks, and armour on my shoulders.
